Boram & David – Gray Gables Wedding in Portland

A few weeks ago I had the honor of photographing Boram & David’s wedding at Gray Gables in Portland. It just so happens that Gray Gables is the same venue where my wife and I were married four years ago! It was a beautiful wedding filled with family & friends…and an entire table full of candy for the guests. During the reception Boram, David and I snuck out to take some very cool photos at night around the grounds. Lindsay from JL Chirst Studios came along and 2nd shot for me and did a fabulous job.

Sneak Peek – Kennedy & Ben at the Siam Society

Had a great wedding yesterday with Kennedy & Ben at the Siam Society on Alberta. I just wanted to post a quick pic of the bride & groom. More to come soon.

Kristina & Marshall – Vancouver Engagement Photos

Last week I met up with Kristina & Marshall in Vancouver for their engagement photos. We actually started the session at the school I work at and I got to use my favorite tree in the world, which I see every morning on my way to work. We took some great pics in a field and then headed into downtown Vancouver for a more urban look. We finished the session at Frenchman’s Bar, west of the city for some awesome sunset shots. Can’t wait to photograph their wedding in December. Remember to check out the polaroids here.

Kristina & Marshall – The Polaroids

Last week I met Kristina & Marshall for their engagement session in Vancouver.
Here are the polaroids!! I used my SX-70 and two different Land Cameras. The funky colors are due to the expired film…most of it has been stored for years and the colors tend to get a little strange. I think it adds a very unique element to polaroid shots…
Digital pics will be up tomorrow.

Jenny & Mike – Portland Engagement Photos

Last week I met Jenny & Mike in the South Waterfront area (or SWF for those in the know).  I hadn’t been down there before and was amazed at all the development and the abundance of parks and green space…very Portland.  Jenny & Mike also brought along their adorable dog Emmie for the first part of the session.  We had a great time near the river and then headed into the Pearl District for some evening photos. I’m definitely looking forward to photographing their wedding next month at the Gerding Theater!
