Ralph Eugene Meatyard Workshop – 10-31-09

Over the Halloween weekend I attended a photographic workshop based around the work of Ralph Eugene Meatyard, a well known photographer who had a rather strange body of work considered challenging and creepy(see some here).  We did a night shoot at Oaks Park, and then did a daytime shoot at the Bybee House on Sauvie Island.  The workshop focused on using blur techniques to achieve an otherworldly quality to photographs.  It was a lot of fun and I think I captured some very cool images.  Fitting for Halloween…
