A few weeks ago I photographed the gorgeous wedding of Angela & Skee held at a pear orchard near Parkdale, which is just outside of Hood River. It was a beautiful day…and a perfect late summer evening. Angela got ready at a local B&B and then headed to the orchard for the ceremony. The ceremony was unique with Angela & Skee standing in the middle of a large circle made up of all their friends & family. A very cool band, Hot Club Sandwich also played at the beginning of the ceremony and played later at the reception. Their two dogs, Kenai & Cooper were also a very important part of the day! After the ceremony we found some great locations around the orchard for portraits of the Bride & Groom. The reception was beautifully decorated featuring handmade decorations, fresh apple juice squeezed by boys at the wedding, lots of pears, and pies made by friends & family from hand picked berries. The ceremony and reception totally fit Angela & Skee’s personalities which is always so great to see. It was truly an awesome wedding, and we got some great photos.
