Jen & Steven – The Nines & North Portland Wedding

Jen & Steven were married a few weeks ago and I was lucky enough to photograph their day. Jen got ready at one of my favorite places in town to take photos, The Nines Hotel. The rooms are awesome there and the lobby is very very cool. Jen & Steven had initially planned an outdoor ceremony at the Kenton Firehouse in North Portland, but due to the threat of rain all day they made the smart decision to make a last minute venue change for the ceremony and so it was held at the Celebration Tabernacle. The ceremony was unique and fit Jen and Steven perfectly and was officiated by Marky Kelly, who married my wife and I After the ceremony it was on to the Kenton Firehouse for a lovely reception featuring some funny & embarrassing toasts, great food, a glass cake topper made by Jen (who’s a glass artist), and a great slideshow made by Jen & Steven documenting their travels together. Congrats again Jen & Steven!
